Venture to the wild and pristine region of Western Canada’s Pacific Northwest. Experience the incomparable thrill of close encounters with some of North America’s most impressive creatures – massive grizzly bears, soaring bald eagles and pods of orcas.
From May to late August spot mother grizzly’s and their cubs feeding and playing in the tall grass. Come Fall, see the spawning of salmon in one of nature’s most dramatic spectacles. Onward from late August to mid-October, the grizzly’s gather in a spectacular sight and take to rivers, catching the salmon as they strive upstream. Whatever time you visit, you’ll find yourself in a world of amazing wonder.

Board a flight from Vancouver to Campbell River (flight not included), situated on the east coast of Vancouver Island. After checking into the Comfort Inn & Suites for the night, explore the town.
Get a taste of the splendors in store as you stroll along Discovery Pier and look out over the views of Discovery Passage, Quadra Island and the Coast Mountain Range on British Columbia’s mainland.
Transfer by floatplane and marvel at the magnificent views on your way to Glendale Cove, Knight Inlet. Your cosy floating lodge for the next three nights - Knight Inlet Lodge - is exclusive to Scenic.
Glendale Cove is home to one of the largest concentrations of grizzly bears in British Columbia. Venture up the estuary through shallow tidal waters in search of these impressive and awe-inducing creatures.
Later, enjoy lunch at the lodge before a second expedition in search of bears and a sightseeing cruise. Be captivated by tremendous waterfalls, ancient glaciers and wild rivers teeming with life. Make sure you keep an eye out for other wildlife in the area, such as seals, sea lions and dolphins.
Evenings at the lodge are the perfect end to an amazing day, where you can relax and catch up with your fellow explorers over a sumptuous dinner with included wine.

Venture out on a guided walk of the beautiful Kwalate River Valley and experience the wonder of the temperate rainforest ecosystem. Alternatively, enjoy a guided tracking tour and learn more about bear habitat and behaviour.
To round out the day, you’ll have another opportunity to search for bears before dinner, either by boat in the spring or from the viewing platforms in the summer. Either way, you’re sure to have amazing photo opportunities.

Venture out on a marine tour over miles of untouched wilderness and revel in intimate encounters with orcas along with other marine life like porpoises and birds. Perhaps be lucky enough to see the magnificent humpback breaching and blowing. This evening, enjoy one last dinner at your floating lodge.

Welcome to Calgary for the famous Calgary Stampede celebrations. The Fairmont Palliser will be your luxurious accommodation for the next three nights.
Enjoy exploring the city and absorbing the vibrant atmosphere of this wonderful annual spectacle. You’ll find Calgary a fusion of sophisticated urban life and warm western hospitality. Perhaps venture next door to the Calgary Tower for the best views overlooking the town.

Arrive in Winnipeg, the capital of the province of Manitoba, for your overnight stay at the Lakeview Signature by Wyndham hotel. Tonight, enjoy a welcome dinner with your guide and meet your fellow travelers.

After breakfast, board an early morning flight to Churchill, located on Hudson Bay. Upon arrival discover Churchill and surrounding area with a guided tour. Stop at the Park Canada Visitor Centre, which reveals the remarkable history of Churchill and see an Inukshuk, a stone formation traditionally built by the Inuit people.
In the afternoon, relax and explore Churchill's charming shops and restaurants. Enjoy the start of your three-night stay at the historic Hotel Churchill.

In the morning, search for beluga whales on a boat tour on the Churchill River. Stop at the The Itsanitaq Museum, home to an exceptional collection of Inuit carvings and artifacts of the Indigenous cultures of the region.
Later, go on an interpretive guided tour of Prince of Wales Fort and get a real sense of a fur trader’s life in the subarctic.

Today, you’ll head out on a tundra buggy tour in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area. This is a great opportunity to spot a multitude of northern wildlife and learn about the geological and natural history of the tundra while admiring the vast colourful landscapes.
Whilst enjoying a picnic lunch on the Tundra Buggy, you might even spot a summer polar bear as they begin their migration into the area at this time of the year.

Today embark on a zodiac boat tour, that will take you into the Churchill River estuary. You may be lucky enough to spot beluga whales who migrate into the warm, shallow waters to give birth and feed on small fish.
Later depart on your flight to Winnipeg, enjoying an overnight stay at the Lakeview Signature by Wyndham hotel.
